“The Lathe Architect” was a successful and engaging event that effectively bridged theoretical knowledge with practical application. It contributed significantly to the skill development of Mechanical Engineering students. Participants were tasked with designing and executing a specified component using a lathe machine within the given time frame. The competition assessed both the conceptual design and the quality of the final product. Students were judged based on accuracy, surface finish, dimensional correctness, and overall workmanship.
