The Department of Applied Science and Humanities at Nirmala College of Engineering plays a fundamental role in shaping the academic foundation of engineering students. Department of Applied Science & Humanities has the vision to impart the basic and comprehensive knowledge of Applied Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics and Engineering subjects and explore the skills of the students in the field of technical education.

Our Mission
  • To enhance the knowledge of Applied Sciences and Humanities which are fundamentally correlated to the various branches of engineering and technology.
  • To teach moral and sense of social responsibility to the upcoming engineers of society.

 

Programme Educational Objectives(PEOs)

  • Candidates Should have passed Higher Secondary Examination.
  • Candidates Should secure at least 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry put together are eligible.
  • Candidates should also qualify the Entrance Examination, KEAM conducted by The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.
  • For  NRI Seats, the candidates need not qualify Entrance Examination.
