Nirmala college of Engineering celebrated Onam on the college ’s premises amidst much fanfare involving staff and management of the college. The celebrations started with the setting up of an attractive floral decoration (pookalam) in the reception area.The main attractions of the program was Mega Thiruvathirakali by the Students & teachers. Another attraction of the day was the traditional ‘onasadya’ that comprised more than 10 dishes served on banana leaves and included varieties of vegetables, rice, banana and payasam. Dr. Jobin M V, Principal, addressed the gathering and conveyed greetings and wishes of the festival. After the inaugural function we had conducted various games and singarimelam.
