The Civil Engineering Department of CISAT Thrissur conducted a minor activity titled “Design Masters” on 26th September 2025, aimed at evaluating and enhancing students' skills in building drawing and architectural planning.
The activity challenged participants to prepare building plans based on specific given requirements, testing their ability to interpret functional needs, space utilization, and technical drawing standards. It provided a platform for students to showcase their design accuracy, creativity, and understanding of planning principles essential in civil engineering.
This hands-on session encouraged practical application of classroom knowledge and helped students strengthen their design thinking and drafting abilities — key skills for future engineers.
