The visit to the IIT Palakkad event "Petrichor 2025" was an enriching experience where participants were introduced to various engineering innovations, hands-on workshops, and cutting-edge technologies to foster creativity and knowledge among students. Our experience was enriched by a detailed exploration of the Manogathi AI Lab and interactive sessions with faculty and industry experts. The lab experts provided great insight to the students, showcasing how much the world has changed. They demonstrated drones using the YOLO algorithm to sense a heartbeat, no matter the debris between the person and the machine.There were many designs and models to look at and understand from each of the labs on topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data learning, and electronics.
