The Department of Mechanical Engineering, celebrated Engineers’ Day on 15th September 2025 with great enthusiasm. The program began with the students taking the Engineers’ Oath, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the values of engineering and contribute to society.
As part of the celebration, the “Nirmala–Visvesvaraya Engineering Museum” was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. G. Natarajan, Former Senior Scientist, CSIR. The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Biju C. V., Principal, Mr. Sanal Kumar T. M., Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and faculty members from the department.
During the event, students showcased and explained various working models, demonstrating their technical knowledge, creativity, and innovation. The museum aims to serve as a valuable learning space for students to understand the principles and applications of mechanical engineering.
